Rockaway's Soul Food Kitchen is a redesign concept for a family-owned southern comfort spot by the Rockaway boardwalk. It pairs a warm, beach-adjacent brand with a working online-ordering flow, built so a small restaurant team can take pickup and delivery orders directly from its own site instead of routing everything through a third-party app.

The build shows a full order-to-checkout funnel on one page. The hero leads with a plain promise and an order call-to-action, then moves into filterable menu categories (All, Mains, Sides, Drinks), a guest testimonial block, and a visit section with address, hours, and directions. The ordering engine is real: items add to a cart, checkout offers card, Apple Pay, and pay-at-pickup, plus address and time selection and a confirmation screen. It runs in demo mode with no live payment taken.
An independent, family-owned restaurant that wants first-party online ordering and directions instead of relying on third-party delivery apps.
